Wandering the City Streets

As someone who still feels like a bit of an outsider on the streets of this dense urban jungle, I find the relentless energy and the buzz of the electric signage overwhelming.

Everything screams for my attention simultaneously; it saturates my senses. My eyes glaze over; I remove my glasses to let the lights blur together, and I enjoy the dance of flat geometric forms before me.

I use these experiences as fuel for my creative process, where I aim to capture this feeling through acrylic paint.
